Invitation to Tender – Project Management

Lostwithiel Community Centre Improvements

Lostwithiel Community Centre is embarking on a National Lottery-funded capital project to improve the building’s energy efficiency, safety, and long-term sustainability. We are now inviting tenders for Project Management, to provide technical leadership and oversee the delivery of these essential works — including roof, window, and door replacements to be tendered shortly.

The appointed Project Manager will help shape the project delivery plan, coordinate contracts and timelines, and ensure all works meet National Lottery funding and compliance requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding and improving a much-loved community asset that has served Lostwithiel and surrounding area for over 40 years. Further tenders for construction and evaluation services will be published in the coming weeks. For the full Project Management brief and submission details, please see the Invitation to Quote document linked below.

If you have any questions, or wish to arrange a visit to the Centre before submitting a proposal, please contact:

We look forward to receiving submissions and working together to secure the future of Lostwithiel Community Centre for generations to come.

Become A Trustee

Join the Board of Trustees at Lostwithiel Community Centre

Lostwithiel Community Centre is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees.

This is a chance to use your finance or business skills to make a real difference – helping to strengthen the Centre, support our vibrant programme, and ensure this much-loved hub continues to thrive for the community. As a Trustee, you will help guide the strategic direction of the Centre, ensuring we continue to provide a welcoming space and vibrant programme of activities that benefit our local community.

Role Details:

Treasurer is responsible for monitoring income, expenditure, and cashflow, and for ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This includes reconciling the P&L on Xero, supporting the preparation management accounts, and presenting clear and accessible updates to the Board. You will also advise Trustees on the financial implications of decisions and help shape a sustainable future for the Centre.

We would welcome applications from a qualified accountant, but this is not essential. Strong financial literacy, confidence with P&L and budget management, and experience using Xero (or similar accounting software) are important for the role.

How to Apply:

Please send us an email explaining your interest in the role and the skills you could bring to LostCCTrustees@gmail.com

Join us and help shape the future of Lostwithiel Community Centre for the benefit of our wonderful community.
